After a month, Xiaomi has again released the Android 10 update with the May security patch. This latest update applies equally to all Mi A2 Lite devices unlike the previous update which was distributed randomly.
Mi A2 Lite was released in 2018, this phone is noted as one of the Android phones with the most diligent Android 10 updates. Imagine, within three months, this Xiaomi phone received three consecutive updates.
According to several Reddit users and Mi Community forums, this latest update is a core update for the system. As both Android 10 and Android 9 (Pie) users are getting this update, so this latest update comes in multiple sizes.
The new update for Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite comes with a version number 220.127.116.11.QDLMIXM . This update is 1.15GB in size for Android Pie devices and 13.75MB for users who have previously updated to Android 10.
This update is delivered OTA, all devices may not receive the notification at the same time. You can manually try to see if your device has received the latest update by going to Settings > System > System Update.
