Workers, customers concerned for their safety from trucks stuck on NW Atlanta parking deck

Safety concerns grow after two trucks get stuck on a Howell Highway parking deck

ATLANTA — Questions are being raised about the overall safety and integrity of an industrial and residential parking lot in northwest Atlanta.

This comes after two trucks get stuck on the bridge which is positioned next to Howell Mill Highway.

According to witnesses, the most recent truck obtained was stuck just a few weeks in the past.

“It’s been here for about three weeks,” noted Taylor Jones, who works at one of the many stores in the complex.

A Walmart supply truck has been stuck on the parking deck for almost 4 months.

“I would have thought that happened today,” advised shopper Anchana Dominick Channel 2’s Elizabeth Rawlins.

Atlanta fireplace investigators advised Rawlins they weren’t aware of the scene however they preferred to after they first responded to the parking deck in March.

Additionally, they mentioned that they have no idea that they are currently operating around not one, but two trucks that may be stuck in a likely compromised build.

“We could all fall and then it will come down to that,” Jones noted.

“Looks like that should have been taken care of a while ago,” Dominick noted.

Rawlins noted that she is ready to hear from the Atlanta fireplace again regarding her questions regarding parking deck safety issues.
