The Minnesota Vikings look pretty different heading into the 2022 season. The team has hired a new general manager, head coach and offensive coordinator.

First Director General Kwesi Adofo-Mansah seems like a man who will tell it like it is, no matter how harsh it turns out.

“I’ll be honest. The one asset where you get nervous about not burning him is quarterback,” he explained during a recent interview with USA Today Sports.

He went on to say that Cousins is a “good write-up,” but also pointed out that the Vikings “don’t have Tom Brady” and “don’t have Patrick Mahomes.”

“[The Super Bowl] you’re more likely to win if you have that quarterback,” he added. “You’re very unlikely to have that quarterback.”

Kirk Cousins is one of five players set to make at least $40 million in the 2022 season. While Kirk Cousins has been solid statistically, it hasn’t translated into much team success for Vikings.
