Toronto announced via its networks that it has acquired the services of Josh Jackson, a forward who was a free agent after playing the 2021-22 campaign with the Detroit Pistons and Sacramento Kings.
While the terms of the deal are unknown, it is likely to be a non-guaranteed contract to train with the team. In those training sessions and warm-up games he should probably earn a place in Nick Nurse’s squad.
The fourth overall pick in the 2017 draft by the Phoenix Suns, he was never able to establish himself in the NBA as the player he was expected to be. He played a total of 51 games between Detroit and Sacramento last year, averaging 6.4 points and 2.8 rebounds.
