Celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married on Saturday, for the second time in just over a month, in a lavish ceremony at the estate of the famous actor, the American press reported.
The stars had already tied the knot in Las Vegas in mid-July, but tied the knot again in front of friends and family at Affleck’s 35-acre oceanfront property in the southeastern US state of Georgia.
Among those attending the three-day ceremony were Affleck’s longtime friend Matt Damon and director Kevin Smith, People magazine reported.
Guests wore white, while Lopez wore a Ralph Lauren dress made in Italy, according to Fox News.
Pictures released by celebrity gossip site TMZ ahead of the wedding showed seating for the dinner being arranged on what appeared to be a large covered dock, with a substantial-sized fireworks display floating nearby.
The couple, he, 50, and she, 53, met on the set of the critically-acclaimed film “Amor espinado” in 2002.
They became a media sensation but postponed their planned 2003 wedding, then announced the end of their relationship in early 2004.
“Bennifer” – the couple’s public nickname for their highly publicized first relationship – set the internet ablaze last year when photos of them together started circulating again.
Lopez and Affleck announced their engagement in April.
This is Lopez’s fourth marriage and Affleck’s second.
