Kevin Federline he’s only talking because he’s worried about Britney Spears?
As you know, things have been strained between the two ever since the former backup dancer discussed some details about Britney’s alleged rocky relationship with her two teenage sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, last week. The bombshell interview came as a shock to many as we haven’t heard from K-Fed in a hot minute. But now, Page Six has reported that the only reason the 44-year-old was speaking out was because he and their children were worried about Britney’s mental health.

A source explained to the publication that they fear her health will be “out of control” after her 13-year Tory term ends in November 2021, saying:
“Kevin did the interview because he and the boys are upset. They worry that everyone is completely oblivious to the fact that Britney is [battling mental issues]which is no secret.”
However, an insider for Brit responded, saying Page six that any of Kevin’s comments about the reason for the interview are due to fears for the 40-year-old singer that they are “pathetic and inexcusable.”
As previously mentioned, the drama between the former couple, who were married from 2004 to 2007, began when Kevin spoke out and claimed that their two boys did not want to see the pop sensation at this time, noting that they didn’t see. her in a few months. However, Britney and her husband, Sam Asghari, responded to the “painful” allegations with several social media posts, slamming her ex-husband for being so public about their family issues. What’s even worse is that, according to Kevin’s lawyers, her sons actually side with their grandfather, Jamie Spears. Yes.
When Britney detailed where her relationship stood with Sean and Jayden today in a since-deleted IG post, Kevin applauded, posting a few videos of her being a parent and arguing with their sons:
“I cannot stand by and let my sons be accused in this way after what they have been through. As much as it hurts, we have decided as a family to post these videos. This isn’t even the worst. The lies must stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this.”
A source for the father of two told Page Six that “posting the videos wasn’t about making her look bad or mean, it was more about reminding people that she legitimately has a mental illness and [Federline and the sons] worry about it going unchecked.”
But interestingly enough, an ex-boyfriend of Britneys – who asked to remain anonymous – slammed Kevin’s behavior to the press, saying:
“Kevin is a nice guy, but he’s a loser. It was very hard for Britney and I to go out with them and Britney knew that she was paying them all this money and they were free to live their lives and spend their money as they saw fit while she was in custody and a small allowance. By the time the kids turn 18, the money’s gone, and Kevin’s high.”
The unidentified ex even speculated that Kevin might have taken money from Jamie. However, the lawyer for the former conservative Alex Weingarten denied the charge, recounting Page six:
“Jamie has not spoken to Kevin or his grandchildren for almost 3 years. There is no truth in anything.”
Well, it looks like the drama between Kevin and Britney is far from over – especially since her lawyer Matthew Rosengart noted earlier this week that the father could face legal consequences for the videos.
