Ashok said that around 80 lakh rupees were spent to make this plane. Ashok made this plane in just one and half year. Ashok was preparing this plane when the whole world was locked in houses in Corona.

The plane named after the daughter

According to media reports, Ashok Aliseril has done engineering. He is currently an engineer at Ford Motor Company. He named this home-built plane “G-Diya” after his elder daughter Diya. Ashok says he always wanted to have his own aircraft. So that whenever they want to roam, they can roam easily. To fulfill this dream, Ashok started preparing a low-cost airliner model. During the lockdown, he started making a small four-seater plane in the UK.

The plane can fly at a speed of 200 km/h

Ashok Aliseril said he bought the material to make the aircraft from Johannesburg, Africa. With this material he started a workshop in a part of his house. The entire project was carried out under the supervision of officials of the United Kingdom Department of Civil Aviation. The maximum speed of this plane is 200 kilometers per hour, and its flight requires about 20 liters of fuel per hour. Let us inform you that Ashok moved to London in 2016 along with his wife and two daughters and settled there.
